How it Works
Kevin can project manage the purchase & import of your American caravan to any stage,
including full NZ compliance & delivery.
1) Choose Your Caravan
You decide on the Make/Model and floorplan of the caravan you would like (Make sure the GVMR is under 7700 lbs so your caravan will comply for a WOF in NZ).
2) Purchase
We source this model either through my supplier or a dealer at an acceptable price. I will negotiate the deal and any extras on your behalf.
3) Payment
Payment for the unit and all other invoices are paid to the dealer, shipping agent and NZ contractors by you. I pass any of my trade and shipping discounts directly on to you.
4) Transport
I will arrange transportation of the unit from the dealer to the USA port if required. Arrange all the USA documentation, shipping, booking, insurance and NZ Customs clearance details.
5) Compliance
Once cleared by NZ Customs, I will pick up the caravan from the Port of Auckland and tow to my premises in Tauranga where my contractors will begin the process of NZ compliance.
6) Customisation
I will liase with you regarding any add-ons you might require over the standard conversion eg: appliances, solar panels, self-seeking TV dish. My electrician will discuss electrical requirements directly with you.
7) NZ Compliance
The Caravan will be fully complied to NZ regulations, including gas certification, electrical certification, SCC and WOF -including the installation of a manditory caravan handbrake.
8) Delivery
Your caravan will be ready for pickup! Alternatively I can arrange delivery anywhere in NZ at competitive rates.
