Carlos found Kevin through a recommendation from his brother-in-law in Napier. He was impressed with the Rockwood 2509S and wanted to import the same model for his family.

Kevin contacted his wholesaler in Ohio to check availability of stock, and the wholesaler happened to have the model in stock. He sent details and photos for Carlos to check over. The decision was made to purchase with the addition of a slide out topper. Arrangements were made for transport to the Port of Baltimore and the Rockwood was then shipped to Auckland.

Once compliance was completed, Carlos and his son enjoyed a father-son road trip from Wanaka to Tauranga to pick up their new caravan.
